July 2020 Newsletter: Refurbishment

Covid-19 had unfortunately delayed the commencement of the refurbishment of the Club. As restrictions have been lifted, work has now started. On Friday 17th July, the scaffolding was erected which signified the start of the roof replacement, scheduled to take two weeks to complete.

The second stage of the refurbishment is set to start in mid- August, when work will start on the upstairs of the club, before continuing with the downstairs. Work on each floor should take around a month each to complete. Among the alterations will be improvements to the bars, new toilets, carpets, and surfaces plus new furniture. Throughout the work the Club intends to stay open. We apologise for any disruption during the work and hope you will love the new look club.
